ADOPTION EDUCATION AND GRANTS
God calls His church to care for orphans. In accordance with this, it is our hearts desire to help both orphaned children and Christian families unite in a spirit of adoption and form forever families. "...God sets the lonely in families"... Psalm 68:6. We raise, collect and distribute funds to assist families with the expenses of adopting. We also provide resources and presentations for people to understand, promote, and sponsor adoption. Infant and international adoptions average $17,000.
FAMILY BRIDGES PROJECT
Family Bridges Project is designed to support local adoptive families regardless of faith; this undertaking has been successfully functioning for over 4 years. Adoptive families have unique issues and needs that are best addressed in a safe, understanding environment. We believe collaboration among adoptive families, resource centers and professionals can both aid and enhance the adoption journey. We provide resources and venues for adoptive families to receive regular support. Our services include: support groups meeting periodically; a “warmline” where families in crisis can talk; a lending library of useful books, periodicals, CDs and DVDs; opportunities for continuing education and training on adoption-related issues.
CARE FOR NATIONS
CARE's principles for ministry are Biblical and therefore transferable to other cultures. We equip national believers to care for orphans and widows represented in their nation and help them to prevent generational patterns of oppression, prostitution and slavery. We provide assistance through the following areas: lifestyle witnessing groups that provide culturally relevant programs, income-generating and grant-writing training, and micro-loans. We also offer workshops that address national churches' concerns for Biblical care of orphans and widows.
